In the same year, he contributed to the proposal of big data strategy as a member of the Advisory Board of the Turin G7 ICT Ministerial Meeting.
In 2018, he was appointed as AI Hospital SubPD for the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP.) He joined IEEE P3800 Data Trading System WG Chair in 2020, and participated in the establishment of this organization to promote data distribution beyond industry, academia, and government.
He assumed his current position in May 2018. He is a specially-appointed professor at Keio University SFC.
