Executive Committees

DSA is conducting the following committee activities to realize a prosperous society (data society) through the free distribution and utilization of data.

  • Utilization Promotion Committee

    Utilization Promotion Committee

    • Activities to improve industrial competitiveness and create innovation by promoting data distribution and utilization.
  • Academic Collaboration Committee

    Academic Collaboration Committee

    • Support to match companies and research institutions to promote industry-academia collaboration.
  • Technical Standards Reviewing Committee

    Technical Standards Reviewing Committee

    • The aim is to study technical elements related to data catalogs, API, data quality, etc. in the data society, and to develop guidelines, etc. for cooperation among data society platforms and with users and providers.
  • Operational Criteria Reviewing Committee

    Operational Criteria Reviewing Committee

    • Promote linkage among businesses linked to the data society as well as other relevant businesses and establish "operational criteria" for activities involved in the data society.
  • Accreditation Examination Committee

    Accreditation Examination Committee

    • The Operational Criteria Reviewing Committee or Technical Standards Reviewing Committee conducts accreditation audits for businesses related to the data society.
  • International Standardization Promotion Committee

    International Standardization Promotion Committee

    • Research trends in international SDOs (Standard Developing Organization) and promote international standardization related to data distribution.
  • Proof-of-Concept Promotion Committee

    Proof-of-Concept Promotion Committee

    • By promoting demonstration of connection between the DATA-EX testbed environment provided by this Alliance and various services performed by private companies, etc., and managing problems in the utilization of DATA-EX through the demonstration of connection, we will contribute to the realization of a world where data utilization allows innovation to take place sustainably.
  • External Cooperation Committee

    External Cooperation Committee

    • Exchange opinions widely about linkage between our council and external organizations and institutions to report back to Board of directors for linkage toward the realization of a data-based society.
  • Local Government Cooperation Promotion Committee

    Local Government Cooperation Promotion Committee

    • To promote linkage with local governments working to build a data society and to contribute to the promotion of a data society in local governments.We will perform arrangement of consideration contents of each committee in terms of local governments, and activities as a comprehensive counter (mutual) connected with local governments in all over Japan. In activities with other committees as well, we assist the activities if collaboration with local governments is necessary.
