Data Spaces Week 2024 in Tokyo
Data Society Allince (DSA) and Interfaculty Initiative in Informattion Studies,the University of Tokyo in cooperation with the Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP) and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), IEEE, and International Open Forum on Data Society (IOFDS)are pleased to announce Data Spaces Week 2024, a week-long event to promote the development of international data space initiatives. Data Spaces Week 2024 will be held during the week of Monday 7 – Friday 11 October 2024 at Hongo Campus of The University of Tokyo. During the week, five events will be held: the DSA Open Forum, IEEE SA P3800 WG, Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP), IDSA Data Discovery Day Tokyo and the International Open Forum on Data Society (IFOFDS). The most important features of the events are the joint symposium between AODP, the Asian data community, and IDSA, the European community, and the participation of Asian organisations outside Japan in IOFDS, which is an opportunity for deep collaboration between Asia and Europe.
