Data Spaces Week2025, Tokyo

Data Society Alliance (DSA) and Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, the University of Tokyo, in cooperation with the Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP), the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), IEEE SA DTSWG, and the International Open Forum on Data Society (IOFDS), are pleased to announce that Data Spaces Week 2025 will be held in Makuhari from Tuesday, October 14 to Friday, October 17, 2025, following last year’s successful event.
Over the course of this week, four major events will take place:
IEEE SA DTS Working Group
Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP) Summit
IDSA Data Discovery Day Tokyo
International Open Forum on Data Society (IOFDS)
This year, one of the highlights will be hosting part of the program at CEATEC, Japan’s largest comprehensive technology exhibition. By doing so, we aim to showcase the progress of data spaces, which have now reached the phase of real-world implementation, to a broader audience.
