Report on the Round table meeting for the data society

DSA has agreed with all of the participants to continue holding the round table meeting for the data society to promote international collaboration for the realization of a data society

DSA and IEEE SA P3800 DTS (Data Trading System) WG held a round table meeting for the data society in Brussels from February 6 to February 8, 2023. The agenda for this meeting is shown below.
The meeting was attended by the member of the IEEE P3800 DTS WG, an international standardization activity proposed and promoted by the DSA, and key parties involved in promoting data collaboration in Europe, to exchange views toward mutual understanding and cooperation for the realization of a data society.

As a result of the discussions at the meeting, all of the participants agreed to the following.

  1. Cross-border collaboration improves the value of data societies.
  2. Improve collaboration with mutual communication contentiously.
  3. Continue to have the regular round table meeting every half year.
  4. Keep the necessary activities of creating common standards for cross-border data federation.

This will promote the mutual use and interconnection of data internationally and is expected to lead to the creation of services in a variety of data application fields.
